Responses to the United Kingdom Gambling Commission's Statement of Principles are currently under review. In January, the organization published a comprehensive list of the values and principles the government intends to use in order to regulate the online casinos industry and encouraged the public to provide feedback on the statement. Among the issues that have received the most responses are the Commission's proposed measures to prevent the vulnerable and the under-age from gambling at the online casino. Other subjects that have received public attention are the issues of fairness and security at the online casino, and the relationship between gambling and illegal elements.
The Statement of Principles is the first document to be launched by the Commission as part of the process toward regulating the online casinos industry.
