Japan May Welcome Casinos in Future

To date the two biggest names in the East have been stalwart opponents to online casino gambling, but that may soon change. China and Japan have not legalized online casino gambling, and while China remains unchanged in this attitude, there are some indications that the Japanese may be changing their minds. A subcommittee under the committee on tourism has made the suggestion that legalizing online casino gambling would have a very positive effect on Japanese economies, and land-based casinos could not help but boost tourism.
With a large percentage of online gambling customers coming form the US, but no gambling companies allowed to base operations there, the potential for US firms interested in setting up shop in Japan to run their online casinos is great.
